The most important aspect of the law is knowing my rights.
Why is it important to you to represent real people instead of companies?
It’s important to represent real people because not all real people know the law as much as these companies do. Companies can afford attorneys and legal fees and some of us real people can’t so we don’t always pursue or stand up for ourselves when we should.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to anyone who is being discriminated against at work?
The best advice I would give is to stand up for yourself no matter what. If you feel that your are being treated unfairly, say something. Know your rights. Never settle.
