Daniel S. Dubow received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2013, and his juris doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Danny sought experiences helping others through clerking at the Franklin County Public Defender, and through work in a Criminal Defense Clinic. Danny also has experience working with Cleveland families through a clerkship with a local family law firm. Upon joining The Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm in 2017, Danny brought his dedication to fighting for others while focusing on employment issues.

About Me

I had the opportunity to second-chair a jury trial with Brian Spitz. We represented a single mother who had worked as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. She had a relatively low hourly rate of pay, which would have kept many other plaintiff-side firms from agreeing to represent her. Although her case appeared to be low-value on its face, we prevailed at trial and she was ultimately awarded $361,000. After seeing that we would be able to help a single mother where no one else would, I knew this was the right choice.

In college, I was interested in politics and particularly in the campaign aspect. However, so much of politics and campaigning is dominated by special interests, and corporations or individuals with a lot of money. I got tired of seeing how big companies or big spenders were able to implement laws or changes to the law, and decided to pursue being an attorney so that I could work with the law to help every day individuals, rather than to serve companies and wealthy individuals who were only looking to benefit themselves.

Document everything. Have a complaint? Put it in writing. Email it. Provide a handwritten complaint. Documentation is critical. Otherwise, the company will simply turn around and say that employee never raised a complaint in the first place.

We will litigate any case–big or small. Many firms have a threshold where they will only accept cases over a certain value. If you have an actionable case where you have been wronged, we will be here to help you. Not only will we be here to help, but when we tell an employer we will litigate the case, their attorney will advise the employer that we do in fact have a reputation to actively litigate each and every case.
