Tell me about a time when you felt discriminated against, picked on, or bullied and how that impacts how you do your job?
I always felt discriminated when I played the Cello in high school, no one expected the black girl named TaLeatha to play a Cello. I had several teachers ask me why I was there or assume I stole a instrument and this was before the spoke to me. I now never judge a book by it’s cover.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to anyone who is being discriminated against at work?
The storm always gets worse before it gets better, always keep that in mid through out your case.
What’s the most important aspect of the law to you?
That everyone has a true advocate to represent them properly.
