Tell me about a time when you felt discriminated against, picked on, or bullied and how that impacts how you do your job?
I was studying Freshmen year in highschool in California and lived with my Aunt, I was harassed by multiple neighbors due to being mexican and living a “good” area, I felt powerless and ashamed most of the time, but due to the fact that I was able to speak and understand everything and with the support of my family. I don’t feel it impacts how I do work but I understand and can relate to this situations.
Why is it important to you to represent real people instead of companies?
Because usually people aren’t heard of when a circumstance presents itself. They are usually pushed down or reprimanded by the company involved in the matter.
Who or what inspired you to become an attorney?
The main reason is because I love helping people and an attorney does it and also, I wanted to be the first attorney in my family.
