About Me

During my undergraduate, I experienced a hostile work environment at a job that I was very passionate about and enjoyed very much. I thought it was a job that I would remain at throughout law school, and I had been led to believe that my previous employer cared about me on a personal level, and that they would have my back when it mattered most. Instead, I was thrown under the bus when there was a workplace conflict caused by the misconduct of my superiors. My employer forced me to resign after my years of dedication so that they could save face. This experience has made employment law my passion and helps me to have compassion and empathy for clients who have been wronged by their employers.
My father is a fourth-generation electrician in a local union. From an early age he taught me the importance of not only a strong, but respected work force. When I look around at the current issues in our country and our world today, I believe that the struggle to earn a living through honest work is one of the most pressing issues currently faced by the lower and middle class. I decided that advocating for employees would be the best way to improve the world around me and ensuring the promise of the American Dream for the hard-working members of our society.
We live in a world where there is rarely an even playing field. But, when our legal system functions properly, it is the one place where everyone can get a fair shake at telling their story and having their side of things heard.
