About Me
Interview questions and answers:
Why did you decide to practice employment law?
I decided to practice employment law because it is the duty of an attorney to represent a client who has been treated unfairly. In my opinion, plaintiff-side employment law embodies this principal greater than any other area of law. Our clients are individuals, who have been treated unfairly by the companies they work for. It is my job to level the playing field and hold those companies accountable for their discrimination.
Why is it important to you to represent real people instead of companies?
I find that it is important to represent real people, rather than large corporations, because compared to large corporations real people have limited resources. But that doesn’t mean they are any less entitled to justice. As an attorney I want to help those who need it, not just those that can afford it.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to anyone who is being discriminated against at work?
Document and report the situation write emails, send text messages, or simply write it down in a note book. Having documentation of discrimination is the best way to refute the employers claims that it “never happened.”
