Biography
Meghan joined Spitz, The Employee’s Law Firm in January 2025. Meghan graduated from Hiram College in 2023 with a major in Political Science and minors in English and History. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2026. While in law school, Meghan externed at the Ohio Civil Rights Commission where she gained important insight into the administrative side of civil rights work. Meghan also interned in the Second Chance Reentry Clinic at Case Western Reserve during law school, where she helped individuals work through issues related to their past criminal records. Meghan draws on these experiences to provide thoughtful, compassionate support to employees facing difficult situations in the workplace.
About Me
Why did you decide to practice employment law?
Work is something that gives many people purpose, and I think it is important that people feel they have dignity, respect, and a voice in their workplace.
What was law school like? Did you have any second thoughts along the way?
Law school was a very challenging, yet rewarding experience. I was constantly stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things, but those experiences helped me think more expansively about my goals and what I can achieve if I put in the work.
Who or what inspired you to become an attorney?
I had a professor in my undergraduate program who earned a J.D. and I always admired his perspective on issues we discussed in class. He took a well-rounded and thorough approach to various topics and I knew that was a skill set that I wanted to develop for myself. Additionally, after spending time in classes and extracurriculars centered around law and politics, I knew that law school was the right path for me.
