Biography
Stephen Loelius received his bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in 2012 and his juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2024. While in law school, Stephen was a staff member on the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law and the founder of the Election Law Society. Stephen joined Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm in 2024, bringing with him his passion for representing employees and defending employees' rights.
About Me
Why did you decide to practice employment law?
I worked in restaurants and bakeries for several years after college and saw first hand how employers violate employees’ rights. Those experiences inspired me to go to law school so I could represent employees.
What was law school like? Did you have any second thoughts along the way?
I loved law school. I enjoy learning, and I met so many passionate and intelligent people. I never had any second thoughts!
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to anyone who is being discriminated against at work?
Document everything and make sure you preserve the documentation in a way that you can access even if you are terminated.
