Biography
A. Vince Colella is an aggressive and well-respected trial attorney. For almost 30 years, Vince has developed a nation reputation for fighting tenaciously on behalf for those hurt and damaged by the unlawful conduct of other. In addition to fighting for the employment rights of abused and discriminated employees, Vince represented the family of a man shot and killed by a St. Clair Shores police officer; and an unarmed teen shot by a Royal Oak Michigan police officer. Vince has been regularly featured for his legal insights and analysis in Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, WWJ News Radio 950, Fox2 Detroit, Crain's Detroit Business, Detroit Legal News, and Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Based on his skilled representation of victims, Vince was selected to the Executive Board of the Michigan Association for Justice.
Outside representing employee's rights against discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination, Vince has played rugby for over 25 years throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and the West Indies and uses his third-degree black belt to instruct women, children, and police officers defensive and safety skills. Charitably, Vince supports Detroit's Downtown Boxing Gym and provides scholarships to law students pursuing civil rights at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
