About Me
Tell me about a time when you felt discriminated against, picked on, or bullied and how that impacts how you do your job?
Being denied entry to the Military Academy solely because of my gender, despite having higher grades than male applicants. The quotas prioritizing gender over merit, especially when it prevents you from achieving your dreams. During that time I felt that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to serve the country based on their abilities, not their gender.
Why did you decide to practice employment law?
Employment law serves as a powerful tool to champion the rights of the marginalized- those who are oppressed, unheard , and unable to afford legal representation. With my understanding of employment law, I can help to advocate for justice on behalf of those who need it the most.
Who or what inspired you to become an attorney?
My father inspired me to be a lawyer. I had a first hand experience that he was unjustly sued by our drunkard neighbor who misrepresented an incident, despite my father’s fulfilling his duties as a police officer. It opened my eyes to the harsh realities of the justice system that defending one’s rights is very costly.
