Interview questions and answers:
Why did you decide to practice employment law?
I was looking for something different than simply doing paperwork. I wanted to help real people with real problems.
What’s the most important aspect of the law to you?
Fairness and equity. It doesn’t matter if you are an individual with mental and physical challenges or a giant company, the law should treat you fairly.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to anyone who is being discriminated against at work?
Document the situation – write an email, send a text message, or simply write it down. Memories fade quickly, but recording the event can make all the difference down the road.
